Yes, Struggle. Contrary to popular beliefs that have been passed on by the media, the word Jihad means struggle. And revolution is a struggle.

In Islam and all other religions struggle is evident, the Buddhist have the four noble truths. It is described in the first that life is a struggle, and secondly that the struggle has a cause.

When one is first born the child struggles for life, this is Jihad. When the child grows up he has to struggle with his ego. The list goes on and on...

Contrary to popular beliefs Jihad does not mean holy war, and there is no word for holy war in the Qur’an.

The Revolution is the movement for social, economic or political change. The Declaration of Independence was the firs revolutionary paper in America; they suggest a very dramatic political oppression and what to do when faced by it.

On another note Jesus (pbuh) was a revolutionary in a sense, he moved against the dogmas of the Jews in order to relieve his people from spiritual oppression.

I believe that revolution comes from within ones soul, and cannot be forced by external means. You are born to resist the system that is not fair and just. If you look at some of the greatest leaders of mankind they did not plan this evolution. Some great examples are Malcolm X, or Martin Luther King, these men exhibited a selflessness that is not found today. They had a calling to service for the people and not the other way around.

This is why the revolution will have to be continued.....
